Deanna Freeman is a dedicated insurance advisor who brings professionalism, care, and real‑world insight to helping clients find the right coverage, all delivered with a warm, approachable style that makes even complex insurance topics easier to understand.

Patrick Brennand
Patrick is a licensed Property & Casualty agent since 1991, He started his insurance career in a part time position with Nekimi Mutual. He was retained as an agent with Homestead Mutual when they merged with Nekimi Mutual in 2000. In 2009 he became the agency manager at Homestead Mutual and served in that capacity until late 2016. He had the opportunity to start his own independent insurance agency in Winneconne, WI. In 2025 Patrick decided to step back as an owner of an agency and sell his agency to the Schmick Freeman Agency, but he continues to work for their agency.
For twenty years, Patrick served the community as a Supervisor on the Winnebago County Board. He served on the Wisconsin County Mutual Board of Directors for 18 years and continues to serve on the organization’s operations oversight committee.
An Oshkosh native, Patrick was raised on his family’s dairy farm south of Oshkosh and graduated from Oshkosh West High School. He attended Fox Valley Technical College, where he received an Associate degree in Information Technology.
Customer Service Representive
Mckinzi Pope
McKinzi is the Customer Service Representative here at Schmick Freeman Insurance. What does that mean, you ask? Great question! Her main focus is to help support our busy agents in the office while assisting with all of our clients' needs. Most days you can find her making calls, working with clients, and keeping Justin and Deanna on task. You might even hear her put Jusitn in his place from time to time.
